A quick 1 mile ascent of about 750ft brings you to this wonderful restored firetower.
Conditions: Well packed trail recently destroyed by a large group of barebooters presumably during the warm weather. Watch out for twisted ankles as the trail is now relatively unsafe for snowshoes. (Note: Fire tower cab is open, windows are plexiglass and can be opened.)
Equipment: Extreme winter clothing (It got so cold my insulated Camelbak froze), SNOWSHOES!! and poles.
