trails: mt. blue trail
conditions: mt. blue road is in fine shape though is quite narrow so watch for oncoming traffic. mt. blue trail is in good condition and work is clearly in process to do more rock hardening in a number of areas. some minor mud, but mostly dry trail.
equipment: nothing in particular.
comments: a nice early morning hike up mt. blue. though short the trail gains some significant elevation and makes for a grind up to the top. great views from various vistas and from the new tower platform on the summit. a cool breeze and clear skies promised a good day to come.
