Trails: Bunnell Notch Trail, Mt. Cabot Trail.

There was about 4" of new unplowed snow on York Pond Rd. driving in this morning. When we left, the road was plowed, but somewhat icy.

All the trails were filled in. But with a solid base the trail breaking was pretty easy.

We wore snow shoes from the get go and kept them on all day. Vinny said that the the trail is like a speedy Beltway now (until it gets drifted in again). A few blowdowns but nothing that will hold one up.

The trail from the Cabin to the summit was a bit obscure in places, so there are a few wanderings.

Blue sky today and cold temps with the wind picking up during the day. Bill M, Vinny C., and I had the trails to ourselves today.
