Trail conditions: A thin layer of crusty snow down low, with occasional patches of ice. Some deeper, dry powder at higher elevations. Sawyer River Road is icy.

Equipment: we used microspikes all day.

Comments: A sunny day that turned progressively cloudier, but the summit tower was in the clear. Great day to be out with Tim, Carmen, and Tim's dog Bond!
