Mt. Carrigain via Signal Ridge Trail
Date of Hike: Saturday, October 4, 2008
Trail Conditions: Dry trail, wet trail, mud, snow
Special Equipment Required:
Comments:
First brook crossings slightly tricky, but doable. Trail a little bit wet after first set.
Second brook crossing (just after junction) was tough - most of the rocks were submerged in 1-2" of water, so extra balance (and water proof boots) needed.
Above that, the trail was a little moist but not too bad.
The last 100-200 vertical feet of the trail had a dusting of snow (and it was lightly flurrying when I summitted).
Two blowdowns, both step overs.
