Date of Hike: 10/16/18
Trail Conditions: Trails damp from overnight rain. Running water and unavoidable pools on the trails in places. Wet rocks up high, and black ice in spots in the summit area. Occasional blowdowns on the trails, generally no problem to pass.
Special Equipment Required: Waterproof boots essential (if you like dry feet). Wind/cold gear needed outside the treeline.
Comments: Took Piper up but lost the route near the top. Returned to the West Side trail, took that to Liberty and summited from the other side easily. Took Liberty, Hammond, and Weetamoo back down.
