Date of Hike: 7/28
Trail Conditions: Clear of trees. A bit muddy on the trail down from Colden to Lake Arnold, but easily passable. The Dike itself is clear of downed trees and the water falls are running mildly. No real issue to climb it.
Special Equipment Required: Approach shoes - recommended for class 4 section of Dike and slabs to summit
Comments: Great day out, had the whole Trap Dike climb to myself. Left the Loj at 10:15 AM and hit the summit at 1:00 PM and was back at the Loj by 3:00 PM. Black bear spotted just before the Loj trailhead, he ran thankfully.
