Trail: Davis Path to Mt. Crawford Cutoff
Conditions: Water crossings easy, little mud, some ice traces.
Comments: The summit was amazingly cold and blustery but the wind blew the sky blue and we could see the buildings on Mt. Washington crisp and clear. Gloves, hats, and layers were called needed. We saw some hikers with microspikes on their packs but it wasn't icey enough to need them with some imaginative rock hopping. The ledges were dry and we met some very friendly folk out also enjoying the day.
