Trail still with a lot of snow, 3' at the top. Soft mushy as day went on. Used snowshoes the whole day. Unfortunately large group with only microspikes trashed trail with postholes. 
Of course, conditions will change quickly. Great vftt, clear early clouded up later. No problems w/water crossings, a few avoidable blow downs
