Date of Hike:1/16/10
Trail Conditions: Main trail to split, well packed snowshoe track, borderline for barebooting. North spur, snowshoe track. South Spur south view was unbroken, deep in spots, we broke out with snowshoes but track is not well consolidated. Definitely not bare boot. We attemped the Crescent Ridge trail but lost the track 10 minutes in and turned around
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes essential, crampons or microspikes may be needed as the track firms up
Comments: Optional - This was a "veterans" VFTT hike with the addition of Leo the wonderdog.
