Trail had long stretches of deep mud and serious erosion. Only a few patches of snow in the woods and no ice. Major crossing was hairball with the high water. No blowdowns.
Bare (waterproof!) boots were fine. Poles helpful to negotiate the muddy sections.
Nice mountain with interesting quartzite summits and great views in all directions, between them. And another lovely day!
