Trail is mostly dry. A few mudholes to work around, and a few blowdowns of note but nothing too troublesome. Bugs aren't out yet, but the trout lilies are. Stepping-stone ford of North Branch of Jacob's Brook is wet; we threw down a rickety temp bridge out of fallen branches. Usable, if not the most confidence-inspiring thing in the world ...
