Trail: Edmands Path, up to the peak and down

Conditions: Trail in excellent shape. No blow-downs, scant mud.

Special Equipment: No, except for the usual necessary good boots and weather-appropriate clothing.

Comments: Weather was iffy, with the rain finally coming down in torrents during the last half of the trip. By the time I got to the last mile, water had pooled in large puddles on the trail in the flat section toward the bottom; up higher, run-off streamed down some sections. But not much wind, even in the exposed sections and on Eisenhower's peak.

Note: The cairn marking the summit of Mt. Eisenhower is topped with a metal sign. If there's any sign of lightning in the sky, get down from there fast!
