Started up Mt Garfield trail early afternoon. Humid and buggy. Water crossings fine despite recent rain. Top was glorious and breezy enough to keep the bugs away. Though skies were ominous, thunderstorms never developed. Quite a fascinating view watching the clouds roll in over the Franconia ridge and the Pemi. Descended via the G. Ridge trail and Gale River trail, The crossings on The Gale River trail were a bit high but were still easily managed with a little care. Peace.
