Mt.Garfield Trail was packed but snow was soft enough were snowshoes were very handy. Please note that that the sign that marks the jct of the Garfield/Garfield ridge trails is not visible because of snow cover. At that point trail heads right and gets to the summit, but I am pretty sure it is not the actual trail, have not seen this much snow up there in quite some time. I used snowshoes and poles , In fact it was a perfect zen like snowshoe trek. Troll like abilities needed for last 1/2 mile. Peace.
