The bridge just before the Garfield trailhead parking is out. The parking can be reached by coming in from the Galehead side of the loop.
The trail is in good condition. No mud. The water crossings were easily passed. No blowdowns.
Warm and muggy at the trailhead, but cooled down as we went up. A good breeze at the top, but very comfortable.
Except for the last two tenths of a mile there are no steep sections on this trail. It's ten miles round trip but seems less because it is so easily done.
