Trail and Mountain names should go in the thread TITLE
Date of Hike:2/11/13
Trail Conditions: Fresh snow 10 to 12 " down low
Special Equipment Required: Snowshoes essential - Wore them start to finish
Comments: A real nice day, cold in the AM but sun for most of the day untill we got down in the shadows at the end of the day. The trail is broken out to the summit, but there are some signficiant diversions along the normal route in the upper switchbacks due to ski traffic and folks who just plain lost the trail and went bushwhacking. The only down side of the day was I did a face plant coming down the trail from the summit and inadevertently "donated" my favorite waterbottle carrier and remaining water to a spruce trap. It was a blue ragged mountain brand but I expect it will be spring before it reappears.
