Trail Conditions: Excellent condition all the way. Some slippery moss covered rocks which needed care in the morning but were drier by descent.
Special Equipment Needed: None
Comments: A perfect day to be out in the North country. Trail is very pleasant though Finn, the dog, slid a few times getting up the rocks. No water on the trail for him! Views from Hayes are limited and we returned to the junction to eat lunch where the views were less restricted. Met two thru' hikers who were not looking forward to the expected rain as they hoped to be at the end by Oct. 14th! Cymbidium and I just have Mt. Success left before we finish our 52 wav!
