Glen Boulder steep, but fun, Davis Path, just spectacular. We took a lunch break at Slide Peak, which was spectacular, in itself. We all enjoyed immensely the trek from Glen Boulder to Isolation. The hike had everything - rock scrambles, boulder hopping, Presidential views without the crowds, an incredibly lush, dense forest floor. Bugs were worst in scrubby forest just below treeeline. Solitary Isolation summit was serene and wonderful. We were all glad we did the traverse rather than doing Rocky Branch in and out, since the stretches above treeline were incredible.
