Mt. Isolation via Rocky Branch/Isolation Trail/Davis Path
Date of Hike: June 28-29
Trail Conditions: very wet, rocky, not well-maintained.
Special Equipment Required: extra socks
Comments:
1: Mt. Isolation was everything I expected it to be.
2: no views
3: the trails are currently all VERY wet and rocky.
4: it was impossible to keep your legs and feet dry this weekend.
Gaiters and waterproof boots didn't help at all.
5: the small campsites near the intersection of the Isolation Trail
and the Davis path were pretty wet.
