Mt. Jackson via Webster Jackson Trail 3/10/13
Sticky snow pack with three small icy spots before the junction to Webster.
Special equipment needed: Microspikes and snowshoes. Poles helped on the steep slabs close to the top.
We switched to snowshoes about a half mile before the summit for better traction and wore them the rest of the hike. Snow softened up later in the day but nothing major. There'll still be stable snowpack for several more days.
