Overcast skies and no views but otherwise a decent hiking day. Despite the forecast the hike was precipitation free and only a bit breezy on the summit. The trail had a slight glazing of ice in some areas over packed snow so microspikes worked well. There were a few sections of solid ice on the steeps below the cliff which can be avoided. Beware of stepping off center as you will quickly drop to knee level or deeper, it got me twice on the way down!
The one major stream crossing was still bridged but I chose to make a giant step over instead of stepping right in the middle just in case. I suspect this bridge won't remain viable much longer. Saw no other hikers on the trail, very unusual for a saturday regardless of the forecast.
