Tried Madison from Great Gulf TH and Osgood Tr, but turned back just below Osgood Jnct due to high winds (60+ mph) and low temp. Snow was packed til .5 miles above Osgood Campsite, but then snowshoes were needed. Above treeline was a constant mix of deep snow followed by ice and rock. [email protected]
