Started out dry from Heart Lake. Trail was quite wet from Fri. nights rain. We ended up getting drenched before we hit the real summit. There was no view today. It stopped raining long enough for a few pictures. Muddy and wet on the way down. Gaiters were really helpful today. The trail is very narrow and you need to be careful not to get wacked in the eyes with branches. There also was some tricky ledges to negotiate. I also think that the Lake Placid area is at peak with the fall colors. #20 for my friend. #8 (second time around) for my other friend and # 22 for me.
