Trail Conditions: Dry & in very good shape, the lower 1/3 or so of the trail relocated a couple of years ago, a bit more trail like. There was some Wasp activity about 1/2 way up, just before you start the steeper climbing to the first partial views. (an old mostly deep tree slightly leaning over the trail on the right, near the flat area before the first partial scramble, a young girl was stung a couple of times)
Comments: Optional - the relo has a couple of more PUD's then the old trail & is slightly longer but very nice. Looked like rain but we stayed dry. Looked like it was raining just a mile or two away on the State Park side of the peak. For a holiday weekend, crowds were not as bad as I feared they would be. Looks like there has been some logging in the area also. Since my last trip on this trail, a couple of more houses along the approach road.
