Trails: Dicey's Mill Trail
Trail was filled in with loose snow, from about 2 inches down low to 4 inches at the summit. We barebooted to the major crossing, which was snow bridged and easy to cross, then switched to snowshoes for the remainder of the day. Snow was sticky on the climb and it kept on balling up our shoes. After the Rollins Trail Jct. the snow was dryer and we had no problems to the summit. Some crawl under and walk around blowdowns, with hanging snow laden branches. We knocked most of the snow off the branches and cleared a few blowdowns. Trail still needs more traffic to pack it down.
Nice warm sunny day with no wind and great views. Vinny C. and I had the trail to ourselves today.
