Mt. Pemigewasset (Indian Head) 1/6/08
We hiked the loop and found the trail broken out. Most people were using snowshoes but there were some deep postholes from a barebooted hiker. Usually I hike this trail clockwise, up Pemigewasset Trail and down Indian Head Trail, but on Sunday we went counter-clockwise. I'm not sure I have a preference but do wish that the road walk could be avoided.
Saw a couple on tube sleds which they had modified so that the front is narrower than the back. They seemed to be having fun but the trail was twisting and their runs were short.
