Mt. Pierce via Crawford Path
Date of Hike: Tuesday, August 5, 2008
Trail Conditions: Mud, running water
Special Equipment Required: Two of every species and an ark
Comments:
MWO said today would be the first precip-free day in awhile. They forgot to add 'not!' Rained most of the day today, alternating between sprinkling and downpouring.
Crawford Connector was fairly muddy. Crawford Path was rather wet, especially above the Mizpah junction. Portions above there the trail was wall to wall running water. Trail was definitely a lot more wet today than it was a week and a half ago after a similarly long stretch of rainy days.
Intended to go to Eisenhower also, but decided it wasn't worth it.
No blow downs.
