Snowshoed Mt. Pierce with a group of 4 from the official Crawford Path parking area off Mt. Clinton Road. Wore snowshoes from the parking lot to the summit and felt that was the best way to do it. A few people were using microspikes, but they were postholing. Great snowshoeing conditions today.
Mt. Pierce is 10x more enjoyable in the winter in my opinion. The views are much improved over the summer. Beautiful but cold day to be out. 98% bright blue skies. Moat Mountain to stuff our faces after.
