Date of Hike: Oct 24
Trail Conditions: Slick leaves and wet rocks down low, patches of ice starting at around 2700', a bit of snow starting at around 2900', and by 4000' there's about 2 inches.
Special Equipment Required: Stabilicers or Microspikes helpful, I put on the Microspikes at around 3000'. Easier going near the top where there's more snow. Traction not used on the way down since afternoon temps had softened the ice up somewhat.
Comments: Beautiful, crisp and clear fall day. Easy half-day hike with great views for relatively little effort. Took Crawford Path up to Pierce, and on the way down took Webster Cliff trail by Mizpah Hut and then took Mizpah Cutoff back to Crawford Path. The little part of the Webster Cliff trail that I saw was a lot drier than Crawford Path and mostly snow-free.
