Mt. Roberts Trail was in perfect shape (thanks, Carole!). High Ridge Trail had a few short sections of snow, firm today. Faraway Mountain and Cold Springs Trails had muddy sections, particularly the latter, in the usual places. Mt. Roberts Trail was resplendent with Mayflowers, Cold Springs Trail with Round-leaved Violets.
Lots of snow visible in the woods across the valley on the north-facing slopes of Turtlehead.
Peaceful and beautiful, as always.
