I just arrived last weekend after spending a month in the West, including 2 weeks in Colorado. We climbed Sneffels from YB around July 10, I took plenty of pics. PM me if interested to get them. We also did Quandary (including a part of the class 3 west ridge), La Plata, Buckskin (a 13er), Elbert, Challenger Point and Kit Carson. Took a good week to get well acclimatized. After that I was able to hike at the same speed as here, without any headache at last!
Note that the standard trailhead for mt Wilson (and the popular route that climbs to the "rock of ages" col) is now closed to the public by the owner. I read this in a paper while I was camping in Ouray. The CFI is trying to find another route.
