Due to an argument with myself about whether or not I should hike on Sunday, I got a late start and hit the trail just after Noon. Everyone was on their way down. The barebooters, the ones with slidding gear, the snowshoers. If I hadn't seen them, I would have thought I had been the only one to reach the summit via Sossman, as winds had blown snow over the trail. I took a peak down toward the north, and it looks like some had actually gone that way in recent days, and I hoped they weren't seeking the Tecumseh Trail that would take them back to the ski area parking but had intended to go to Tripoli Road.
Of interest, at Exit 23, the temp was 40 degrees and sprinkles. One exit further, it was 28 degrees and snowing.
