Trail Conditions: Several inches of packed snow over rocks, almost no ice. Sossman Trail to ski area not broken out. Stream crossings trivial.
Special Equipment: Neither snowshoes nor traction devices needed. I brought my snowshoes because I like snowshoeing, snow to shallow, and too many rocks, to use them.
Comments: Very high clouds, good views from outlook after upper stream crossing and from summit. Would have gone to viewpoints on Sossman Trail had I been in better shape
