Date of Hike: July 13th, 2011
Trails: Admin Road, Jack Frost, Mountain House, High Meadow, Echo Lake Road
Trail Conditions: Dry, Dry, Dry! All springs and streams are dry as a bone. I'm glad we brought extra water for the dog. No issues on any of the trails we explored today.
Comments: Excavation and construction and are in full force on the summit. I'm not sure what exactly they are doing up there but excavation at the very top was well under way today. Auto Road is closed to vehicles while construction is underway. Large area on the summit fenced off.
We still had fun though spending a fairly mild summer day in the woods.
