Trails: Ammonusuc Ravine, Crawford, Camel, Davis, Southside, Tuckerman Crossover
A group went up Ammonusuc Ravine Trail, which was wet in spots low til Gem Pool..then rocky and relatively dry until the brook crossing on the ledge, when large patches of frozen snow/ice slowed us down slightly..traction could have been used but we chose to bareboot..all crossings a little high but no issues...above treeline, no snow..then one group split to summit Washington (lady moving to Idaho had to highpoint NH!) and the other went to explore new trails...Crawford Path had no snow...Camel, Southside, and Tuck Crossover each had one or two large snowfields in a section or two of trail, but they were solid around 12 noon...return via Ammo and the snow/ice had softened and it was fun boot skiing sections..Cog Spur out for one group and were picked up by Ammo parked vehicle...Starbuck the 6 month German Shep pup did a great job again today..no wind up there basically!!!
