Felt good to be on good snow. A bit cold, but nothing terrible. My dog did fantastic out there, he really excels in the winter.

Webster Cliff Trail?
One of my favorite short hikes. Get most of the climbing done early with a nice workout, then ridge cruising with great outlooks and lots of fun but low risk scrambling. I've done it in Summer and Winter, day and night, sun and rain, etc. Liked it every time. This route seems to always deliver an enjoyable hike.

Agree. A pretty intense workout at first, then you get to the ledges with spectacular views. I like that the ledges are somewhat sheltered and not really high risk. A few pics from a fall hike.

That is a nice feature. This is a frequent choice for my "horrible weather practice" hike for that reason. I've been there in the pouring rain, in the dead of Winter and hitting spruce traps, night travel in high winds. There are a surprising amount of flowers on that trail at the right times of year too. A few photos of various hikes:

I may have experienced the strongest updraft that I have ever felt in the spot on Webster pictured in your third photo. It was very impressive. That's a great little loop over the 2 peaks. I liked the Elephant Head side trip as well.

The night I took that photo it was pretty windy. That is why clouds look so fuzzy in the picture. They were whipping by at about 30mph. I had to crouch down against the scrub on the edge of the outlook to keep my GoPro steady.
