Date Hiked - 3/15 (attempt) and 3/16 (success!)
Conditions: Ethan Pond well packed out to Willey Range Trail. Barebooted up to this point. Willey Range trail also pretty well packed, but with a hard layer under a couple inches of powder. Near the top there were a lot of iced and snowy branches over the trail. Had to crawl under a few. About 4-5 inches new snow at the top.
Equipment: Some type of traction required on Willey Range. We found crampons were needed - snowshoes just were not working for us on the steep sections.
Comments: Overall a great hike. But a slow 1.1 miles from the Ethan Pond junction to the summit.
