Mystery Mountain

On my frequent drive from Ottawa to the Adirondacks, I've noticed a mountain that seems to have significant vertical and in turn, elevation. It can be seen from NY30 just south of Malone, soon after the turn off for Owl's Head and Mountainview (probably about 15 miles/25 kilometers south of Malone) and is on the eastern side of NY 30. This makes it much closer to home.

Does anyone know what mountain this is?
Does it have trails or is it a trailless peak?
Is it on State Land or private land?
What else can you tell me about this mountain??

Lyon or Averill.

I believe the mountain would be Debar and it does have a trail and I believe it is on State land with access from Meecham Lake Campsites

It was definitely Debar, I believe Lyon is probably the next significant peak just to the east of Debar. Beautiful day, very wet, with about 4-6" of snow higher up.

Was there a view from Debar? I've wanted to hike it. Meecham Lake is a nice spot.
