Trail Conditions: 18 to 30 inches of light powder. Near the top snow was wind-packed and snowshoes didn't break through as much. Brook crossings were not a problem.
Special Equipment required: Everyone in our group used snowshoes all day. Crampons were not necessary.
Comments: Snowshoeing was difficult in the deeper areas. Near the top the wind-packed snow made trail breaking much easier. The trail is now well packed to Middle Tripyramid.
