Date of Hike: Thur. 10-15-09
Trails: Pine Bend Brook Trail
Trail mostly dry to about 2700 ft. where the snow line starts. About 2" of snow. Light traction was helpful on the North cone scrambles, especially on the descent. I wore my micro spikes, which were helpful. The snow won't last long. I followed some tracks were someone had come up the north slide, but didn't see anyone. Nice day with mild temps and no wind. Water crossings were no problem. No blow downs.
