Trail: Lonesome Lake Trail to Fishin'Jimmy Tr. to Kinsman Ridge Trail
Conditions: Ice on the trail in locations. We would have had to go off trail more than a few times to avoid the ice so were glad we had brought traction to save wear and tear we would have caused by going off trail. About half the folks we saw had traction.
Comments: Congratulations to Eric Hubley for finishing his NH 4's on South Kinsman. We stayed at Lonesome Lake Hut along with a great group of Boy Scouts from Rhode Island. Nate, the hutsman, showed us all how to use an alcohol stove. He was very helpful and enthusiastic.
