Took Lonesome Lake Trail up and down with the short push up Kinsman Ridge Trail. Lonesome Lake Trail is eroded in spots but there are other areas where trail work has it in good condition. Kinsman Ridge is in good shape but could be brushed back a bit. Weather was good for ALMOST the whole day. From the junction of LLT and Cascade Brook Trail, coming down the skies opened up on us. Torrential rain and then hail. Trail become a rushing river. It was amazing how fast the river by Lafayette Campground (West branch of Pemi?) came up!
Prior to the rain the trail still had plenty of water on it for dogs.
Lots of ill prepared hikers heading to the hut and to Cannon.
