Need Black Fly update

How are the blackflies between the Upper Works and Wallface and how's the mud for that matter?

Due to the unusually warm weather, a few black flies were biting in the eastern and northern parts of the Adk Park, yesterday, May 11; it's a bit early for them, usually starting around MMD weekend. With cooler weather forecast for the next week, they may be contained for a while. Don't expect them in the high country just yet.
