Congrats to Anish on a new AT record, 54 days 7:48 SoBo! She made the FKT attempt announcement and then quietly hit the trail...this is the first I heard of it.

It took her only 8 days more than the recent fully supported effort by Scott Jurek (who broke by Jennifer Pharr-Davis's time by a mere ~3 hours). Not too shabby for someone who once weighed ~200 pounds!

Awesome. I raised on Whiteblaze the same point - would seem that with a full support crew, like Scott and Jen, Anish could give the record a scare. One person questioned whether the whole supported thing is her style. I could see where she might prefer not to go down that road, so the speak. Outstanding accomplishment.
