noonmark or hurricane

cant decide which one to do this weekend. probably noonmark becouse it is closer. What are the conditions up there. do I need snow shoes, instep crampons or full crampons. Just bought new winter gear and am dying to try them out.

I haven't done Hurricane but I did do Noonmark, it is a fantastic peak with a bunch of rock scrambles towards the top. Unless you know of a definite snow pack, I would be safe to say that I would pack a set of 10pt crampons for there. There are a lot of rock scrambles towards the summit which might be icy if not snowy. Plus, crampons aren't that heavy or big.
