North Peak of Kinsman via Lonesome Lake Trail & Kinman Ridge Trail 5/15
There was no snow until just before Lonesome Lake. Then there was a monrail that was easy to walk on. Once I hit Kinsman Ridge there was snow here and there but easily walked on. At some point I lost the trail near a brook. I wondered around a little looking for a blue mark on a tree. Finally saw footsteeps that crossed the brook. A little while later saw a blue marker.(deleted question) I hoped I was on the right trail. Eventually reached an intersection that said go up for Kinsman Junction and down to Cannon, so I went up. (deleted question) I followed Kinman to 3 or 4 way junction. At that point I descended on Fishin Jimmy. Slow going on softening monorail. I tried using snowshoes, not helpful.Once I hit the hut I took Lonesome Lake back to the campground. Beautiful hike.Lovely weather. Just not sure I hit the peak!! (deleted question)Any input would be appreciated as I'm doing the 4000 footers.
