Trail Conditions: A little mud above the first outlook..other than that trail dry and in good shape..the trail above the first view ledge getting very overgrown..literally have to push your way through the thick spruce brush
Bushwack around the water crossing a bit muddy..on descent i did the crossings and they were fine and the reward was a nice stretch of level trail..
Equipment: poles a big help on the crossings..wind protection and some fleece on the breezey summit view
Comments..Fine fall like hike today..high clouds did not distract from the fine views..a bit windy at the summit sign where we had lunch then we "climbed" 10 feet on my watch up to the overlook which was stunning..
Timing issues had us skip South Twin this trip..it was in the clouds..sunny we would have gone..A good day on the trail with OTHH
