Trail Conditions: Trails were mostly clear of snow. Ice was avoidable. There were a few medium-sized fields below Washington and another one along route elsewhere. Mostly the jumble of rocks were down to bare rock. Pine Link had been nicely maintained down low with recent work to clear water bars. A couple of blow downs did not present a problem.

Special Equipment Required:some found microspikes useful for the snowfields, others did without. Comfortable shoes and a change of socks were luxury.

Comments: Optional - Awesome day above treeline! We didn't see too many others out there. In fact we had every peak to ourselves, not even the bugs were there to bother. Great day!
