Northern Presidentials Loop Hike via Nelson Crag Trail, etc (See Text): 04-Jul-2008

Trail Conditions: The loop began and ended at the Pinkham Notch Center. The trails used were as follows: Old Jackson Road, Nelson Crag Trail, Alpine Garden Trail, Lion Head Trail, and Tuckerman Ravine Trail. All these trails were in fine condition.

Comments: Yesterday was a brilliant day for viewing. The northerly views to Adams, Madison & Jefferson are particularly nice, as are the views down the Pinkham Notch and the easterly views over the Wildcats. The trek along the Alpine Garden Trail is always a treat.
